Location: Downtown Disney
Rank #3 in Table Service Restaurants, Serves Dinner Daily and Brunch on Weekends
For other Table Service Restaurant rankings, see our article on Disneyland Table Service Restaurants Ranked
Paseo is a fine dining Mexican restaurant and it’s the flagship restaurant of a trio of restaurants. Céntrico and Tiendita which are downstairs from Paseo. They are all created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. The Paseo menu blends Mexican flavors with French culinary techniques.
The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor with a balcony overlooking Downtown Disney. The space is contemporary with high ceilings, and a beautiful mix of wood, greenery, and glass elements. The restaurant is one of the few we’ve experienced at Disneyland that isn’t noisy – which we love.
It’s a well-designed, calming space resulting in a more relaxed dining atmosphere which is no small feat in Disneyland. You do catch Downtown Disney noise from the balcony, but the views are enthralling.
Menu Highlights
We’ve enjoyed all the food we’ve ordered here. The cocktail menu is inventive and fantastic and everything we’ve ordered was divine. The margaritas are amazing, of course.
Many of our favorites are the small plates where they have many excellent, shareable choices. The only entree we wouldn’t order again is the Chile Relleno which was good, but is filled with vegetables. It’s a great dish for vegetable lovers, but we like lots of cheese in a Chile Relleno.

Our Favorites at Paseo: Queso Fundido, Chicken Tetela, Mejillones, Yucatan Ceviche, Guacamole, Enchiladas De Pollo, Mama’s Conchita Pibil, Carne Asada, Pulpo Enamorado, Cesar Salad with Shrimp
Pro Tips
They do have a small amount of bar seating.
They accept reservations 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website starting at 6AM Pacfic time. We’ve found that they don’t book up right away. Still, the sooner you make reservations, the better.
They serve brunch on weekends. We have not yet tried it, but we see some of our favorite small plates on the menu.
The menu at Paseo is different than the more casual Centrico location downstairs. We enjoy both, but we rate Paseo higher and it is more expensive, of course.
Watch for Instagrammable desserts. The dessert chefs are quite creative here and offer beautiful and delectable creations which are different every time we come.
Summary
That’s our opinion and yours may be different, of course. We have not tried every menu item, so we only include our favorites based on what we’ve tried.
Paseo is one of our favorite restaurants at Disneyland. We are impressed with their food and the overall feel of the beautiful space. This restaurant is an oasis for us from the hustle and bustle of Disneyland.
