Carnation Cafe serves classic American comfort food on Disneyland’s Main Street. It’s a popular spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s known for a charming atmosphere with a lovely patio and Victorian-inspired interior. It has historical significance because it’s been there since Disneyland opened in 1955, although it has changed over the years.
This is our second highest ranked Table Service restaurant in Disneyland Park. We love to eat here because of the awesome Park vibes on Main Street and some great food. Most of the higher-ranked restaurants on our list are in Downtown Disney or the Hotels. This is a great Table Service location if you want to stay in Disneyland Park for a meal.
Menu Highlights
Their menu includes salads, sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, hearty soups and more. The menu options are broad for being inside the Theme Park as most in-park restaurants have small menus. One of their signature appetizers is Fried Pickles and we have some pickle lovers who love these.
The desserts are standouts at Carnation Cafe. The brownie a la mode is delightful, and we adore their seasonally changing warm pie a la mode.
The only thing on the menu that we’d skip is the cheeseburger – it was on the dry side.
The breakfast menu is light on entrees, but they have some good choices and we enjoy their lattes. We have a post about Breakfast Restaurants at Disneyland.

- Breakfast: Breakfast Skillet, Mickey-shaped Waffle
- Lunch and dinner: Chicken Fried Chicken, Patty Melt, Turkey Club Sandwich, Wedge Salad, Walt’s Chili, Baked Potato Soup, Fried Pickles, all the Desserts

That’s our opinion and yours will be different. We have not tried every menu item, so we only include our favorites based on what we’ve tried.
Overall, the Carnation Cafe offers a delightful experience with classic American food in a charming, historic, and authentic Disneyland setting. We enjoy eating at Carnation Cafe and we highly recommend it! Great food, great atmosphere and it’s got that quintessential Disneyland vibe we love.
