Cafe Orleans offers New Orleans Cajun cuisine and a charming ambiance. It’s in the heart of New Orleans Square with a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the Rivers of America. They have a small amount of indoor seating in a charming setting.
Menu Highlights
The Cafe Orleans food is tasty and every entree is reliably good in our experience. The menu is small so review the menu before you go. Their signature dish is the Battered and Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich. They have two versions – ham and cheese or triple cheese. Other typical entree offerings are Roasted Chicken entree, plant-based Risotto, Beef entree and Pasta entree.
The Pommes Frites which come with the Monte Cristo are the best french fries in Disneyland. They don’t serve them as a side, so you can only get them with an entree.
They do have a few alcoholic beverages on the menu – a few wines, signature cocktails and maybe one beer. Not many options, but at least it’s offered.
While the menu is small, the quality is high. If this menu appeals to you then we highly recommend Café Orleans.

*Their beef dish changes as does their pasta – we believe they are always good but your menu will probably have a different pasta and beef dish
Pro Tips
As noted above, the Pommes Frites (or french fries) are spectacular but they only come with the Monte Cristo. You may be able to substitute the side on the Beef dish for Pommes Frites if they aren’t listed.
We prefer sitting on the Patio overlooking the Rivers of America vs. the indoor dining. You can ask for the Patio but Cast Members can’t guarantee it.
We enjoy eating at Cafe Orleans and we highly recommend it! Great food, great atmosphere and it’s got that lively New Orleans vibe we love. The menu is small, so we suggest reviewing it before you go.
